The Pirates of Silicon Valley

The movie The Pirates of Silicon Valley was all about the lives of two of the greatest minds in the history of computers  -- Steve Jobs and Bill Gates

Before we watched the movie I already have a quite small knowledge about these two people. I've already watched the movie Jobs (2013) which features the life of Steve Jobs so I had more knowledge about him than Bill Gates. He was the co-founder and former CEO of Apple Inc. I knew about his anger management, being a narrow-minded person and being smelly most of the time which makes working with him difficult for his office mates.

I already knew that Bill Gates works for Microsoft Inc. and is obviously the richest person in the world. He is a programmer, philanthropist, businessman and investor. He is the co-founder of Microsoft Inc. which is the world's largest PC software company today. As what I've heard, Bill Gates is quite the opposite of Steve Jobs. He is very easy to work with and is open to new ideas.

The whole movies just talks about how the two great minds built their names in the computer world. How they successfully took to the next level the idea of computers. As Steve Jobs said in the movie, "Those guys think they're revolutionaries. They're not revolutionaries, we are." He was very confident of himself and his field. He knew that he can make a difference and that's what the two of them did that actually changed the world today.

What I conclude from this movie is that you shouldn't let anyone and anything stop you from reaching your dreams. If you want something, you should work hard to achieve it. No matter how many times you fail, just keep on trying. College graduate or not (like the two), everything is possible with hard work and perseverance. And it would be much admirable if you would also add something in the equation such as kindness for we don't the future. The person whom you're picking on now might the your employer in the future. The person you're belittling now might be the next big thing soon. So, just show kindness and work hard. And the rest will follow.
